5 panel

The 5-panel hat is crafted from a single piece of fabric that is folded and stitched at the crown. A key feature is that the front seam stops short of the brim, creating one large, uninterrupted front panel.

6 panel

The 6-panel is the most common and recognizable hat style. It’s constructed from six triangular pieces of fabric stitched together, with a seam running directly down the center of the front panels.

7 panel

The 7-panel hat features a more complex construction. The front of the crown is divided into three sections: two smaller triangular panels on top and a larger, more rectangular panel below.

Camp

Camp caps are a slouchy, low-profile style that sits closer to the head. They are typically unstructured (meaning no firm front support) and have a straight, curved, or short brim.

Has a taller and more squared front panel that sitsfurther off the head.

Low crown

Has a more gradual curve on the front panel whichsits closer to the head.
